Clinical Supervision
I am a Washington State Approved Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor providing clinical supervision for mental health professionals in Washington State. My approach is collaborative, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the realities of clinical work. My goal is to help you develop the knowledge, clinical judgment, self-awareness, and confidence to practice in a way that is both effective and authentic to you.
In supervision, we may explore:
-
What is happening clinically and what might be happening beneath the surface
-
How your client's history, environment, relationships, and nervous system are influencing treatment
-
Differential diagnosis and clinical formulation
-
Treatment planning and choosing interventions thoughtfully
-
Trauma, attachment, and relational dynamics
-
Play therapy and developmentally appropriate interventions
-
Working effectively with neurodivergent clients
-
Therapist-client dynamics, including countertransference and the therapeutic relationship
-
Ethical and professional questions
-
Documentation, boundaries, and risk management
-
Navigating difficult or stuck cases
-
Recognizing when your own experiences or patterns are showing up in your work
-
Building a sustainable clinical practice without losing the parts of the work that made you want to become a therapist in the first place
I particularly enjoy working with clinicians who are:
-
Developing their identity as therapists
-
Early in their clinical careers and wanting a strong foundation
-
Experienced clinicians who want a thoughtful consultation space
-
Interested in trauma-focused or relational approaches
-
Interested in play therapy or developmentally responsive practice
-
Working with neurodivergent clients
I want supervision to be a place where we can remain curious, think critically, and continue developing as clinicians. Supervision is available virtually throughout Washington State. Individual, dyadic, and group supervision options may be available depending on current availability.
If you're interested in supervision, reach out to schedule an initial conversation about your goals, supervision needs, and whether we might be a good fit.
